This is a heavy groundbait for fishing big navigation canals or powerful rivers. Perfect for targeting barbel as well as big bream and roach. If barbel or roach are the main target try soaking 200g of ground hemp in half a litre of boiling water for 30 minutes then wetting the groundbait with the resulting hemp soup. For a classic wetting try using 1/2 a litre of tepid water per kilo and wetting the groundbait a good 2 hours before fishing. This helps the large particles in the mix to swell up completely.
