op match anglers have developed Special Roach for canal, lake and slow river roach fishing. This relatively low feed groundbait is best wetted with half a litre of water by hand or with a whisk. The groundbait takes on an attractive deep brown colour and a slightly spicy flavour that roach find hard to resist. Can be used for fishing on the deck or for clouding for fish off the bottom. Match anglers top tip: Try mixing 1 kg of Special Roach with 1kg of Brown Lake, 250g of PV1 and 200g of Touche then wet the mix with fresh pigeon poo. This will create a top class roach groundbait!
