XXL has been developed to meet the needs of the modern carpodrome match angler. The groundbait is very coarse, rich and sweet with a strong almond flavour. It is now one of the most popular groundbaits on the carpodrome match circuit. Best wetted with half a litre of hot water and mixed with a whisk to avoid scalding your hands. Let the mix rest for a good hour then finish the wetting with a little lukewarm water. Barbel anglers are also using the XXL mixed with Special River with great success on faster rivers.
